Lightbulb Camry on Steelies/ No hubcaps

if your camry(or any other car) is on steelies with no hubcaps on, is that considered being a "Ricer?"
i'd like to hear your comments...

Up here in Canada and the northern states, we do it for a reason...we have to switch to our snows, it only makes sense to have a second set of rims, hence the cheapy steelies.

IMO, if you're putting on steelies or taking off the hubscaps for the sake of that look, that's just silly...leave your hubcaps on.

Regardless of your reason of putting on steelies, it's not even close to the definition of 'rice' (what a stupid term).

hehe... for my car i just cant stand the look of having stock hubcaps... cuz it makes me think that i drive my parent's car or something... thats why i take them off
i would want some rims but cant afford them at the moment..
regardless of the season, if its winter or summer / etc..
i just have them off all the time...
is that bad enough for me to be called a ricer???

not everyone has 1 grand to spend on rims + tires...
i rather use that money to get some shocks + springs
to help the car handle better...

i think that riding around on steelies are ridiculous. it's ugly and hubcaps only cost like 40 bucks a pair to make your car look presentable. i just don't get what you guys see in them. THEY'RE UGLY!!! it makes your car look so old and ghetto. a nice shiny camry, with ugly black steel rims. why would you do that to your baby? then again, i am sure you are the same guys who feel that chrome rims are ugly. bleh.

^ hubs are only $30 at Walmart (that's CDN too)

I'll keep my hubcaps on for now until there's a reason I have to run on steelies. I plan on repainting my caps soon, as well as fill in all those ugly gouges from my parents scrapin' em on the curbs

not everybody on steelies likes chrome...i don't...

for me personally, i just don't see the need to spend $1000+ for rims and tires...not that they don't look good, but i want to spend my $$$ on performance first to make the car actually turn in and handle...

i get so tired of people hating on steelies, chrome etc...realize that everyone has different priorites, different tastes, likes and dislikes...as well as different levels of cash to spend on their cars...so as long as it works for you and you like it go for it.

later,
Keri

I was on steelies for a few weeks but my steelies were kinda rusted looking so I put my hubs on for the stock look.
