Want Bright Headlights like BMW or Lexus???

sup guys, just decided to share a tip on getting brighter headlights, unless yall already heard about it, then ignore this =)

did this to my camry a few weeks ago.

well hear goes:
on my camry the lowbeams are 9006s and highbeams are 9005s. so this is VERY simple, go buy Sylvania Silver Stars highbeams thatll fit your car (or not, this is if you want white lights, you could use your stock ones if you please) at a local car parts store, ie AutoZone, theyre about $40 bucks. so you say the highbeam bulbs wont fit the lowbeam socket? well you are correct! there are these two grooves (on my car anywayz) that are on the socket that prevent you from pluggin the highbeams bulbs in. EASY solution, CUT EM OUT!!! i just used a utility blade. you could also cut the grooves out of the bulbs themselves but i found it easier to take em out of the socket. once thats done, simply put the bulbs in and your done! i tried to take the lowbeams and stick em into the highbeams but they wouldnt fit....so i just bought cheap super blue highbeams ($10 bucks each) to stick those in there =) or you could use your stock ones.

now you can see the road better at night. Happy Safe Driving!

welp hope this helps! tell me of any success stories.

i was actually high beamed by an FX the other day cuz he thought i had my highbeams on, haha, i just went home and aimed my headlights lower and it solved that problem =)

Good info, but it's posted in the Camry FAQ already.
