New Toy...

got this baby in a couple days ago...

Zeta III, got it for a very good price . Brand new!

So, time to get rid of the tenzos in my car...they have been good to me, but it is time to go to something better!

Now only if those XERD headers would ever get here, i'll be in business

Yeah I sat in a couple of the momo's, liked them a lot...but I sat in a BRIDE at D1 a couple weeks ago, and I was just sold...it was the most comfortable full race bucket seat in which I have ever sat. The new Zeta III's are amazing.

Luckily as well, BRIDE has a US distribution center now. No more 3 month shipping from Japan .

Im interested, which momo seat did you go with?

Got it for $670 out the door without shipping (but including tax), as I was able to pick it up in Gardena, CA where the warehouse is located.

http://www.tees-usa.com/zeta3.html

You can read about the Zeta III there. Another good seat to look into is the MOMO Acropolis:

http://www.shopmomo.com/moacevse.html

Also similar is the Sparco EVO 2. The link for that one is:

http://www.sparcousa.com/pseats_comp.asp?id=86

I have sat in all three of those, and I hated the sparco, liked the momo, loved the BRIDE.

You will have to get custom brackets made, or modify your current ones (as I have done). Also, all three of the seats I mentioned above are side mounted, so you need the side plates to mount them to the bracket.

just wondering....if the car comes with powered seats, how would making these bucket seats fit possible? or would you have to sacrifice the powered unit completely? This goes for all gens of Camrys, btw...

(edit): oh yah.....looks sweeeet! me want *drooool*

^yes im pretty sure you must sacrifice the power. the power adds weight, and part of the reason for racing seats, besides cool look and comfort is weight, correct? either way, power seats aren't really all the neccesary

nice seat! are you gonna get one for the passenger side as well? any plans for racing harness? have you been to the track yet since you got the s/c installed?
