i got to see my camry today

My school doesn't allow my to bring my car, so now that i'm on spring break I finally get to get to work on the camry.

I got back and opened up my garage, took out the key, tried to start...and failed. Battery was dead. I had asked my mother to start up my cara nad let it run a few times a week. I asked her if she did it and she said she hadn't done it once. So I jumped it off her car, let it run, then turned it off to do some work on the rust that seems to be spreading. Sand a little then decide i've had enough. It looks like it might rain and since i have holes in my car (from the side moulding being off...and only 2 from rust) I decided to put it back in the garage...dead. I went to my grandparents house to get the battery charger and charged it up. Hopefully it will start tomorrow and with less burning oil. Hopefully i'll be able to get most of the rust off by the end of the break so that i can paint it at the beginning of the summer. Amazingly the rust isn't over teh wheel wells though. Its in the bottom of the driver side passenger door and behind the passenger side tail light, as well as a few spots taht were under the moulding. I couldn't wait to get to work on it. It's been so long.

probably, i'll have to check that. i don't even know how old the battery is, so it might be time for a replacement anyway. would have been nice if it could have been started occasionally though.
