I have a 99 camry (4m9 gold) with a stock tan interior and I want to start changing it. I am trying to think up some color schemes for it (probably not white). Ideas were black and blue, or tan and a turquoise-type green, maybe black and silver, or blue and silver...ack it's so hard to choose! Anyway, just looking for opinions/ideas.

Stay away from flashy colors (red, blue, white, yellow, pink) because personally they look like poop. Clean in my opinion is dark colors (black, navy blue, etc) and if you wanna do accents, silver is timeless, and maybe chrome if you're into bling-bling'ing...

latez.

with a gold exterior your options are a little narrower (in my opinion) than say a black, green, or blue car. it's probably better to stay in the lighter color region like tan, light gray, off white to complement the exterior. going black or dark grey would contrast too much. gold is considered a little more conservative a paint color that most. it goes well with the wood-grain dash kits.

i'm going thru the same thought process right now as my interior does not match since my paint job. takes some thought.

good luck with your decision. post up some pics when your done.

peace

I have laid out the ground work for my car, and my scheme is a Dark Blue and Lite Blue scheme. For some reason or another I find these colors to be amazing. I feel, to each their own... but pokadots are out of the question! he he he.... pokadots.... he he he..
