Hi to everyone,
this forum has been a big part of me moving to own a Camry and what to look for when buying
I've been lucky enough (I hope

) to purchase a '93 Camry 3.0 V6 auto called the Vienta in Australia.
She's only done 72,000 k (45,000 miles), has a few scratches but nothing that can't be fixed.
I checked the following before buying:
- transmission fluid (red and correct level)
- oil (still clear and not white residue, head gasket seems ok)
- moves from drive to reverse smoothly and easily
- v smooth on accelration, no smoke
CV joints seem good as does the suspension.
So, what I wanted to ask was any recommendations on what I should consider getting looked at straight away. I was thinking:
- Auto transmission service
- Timing belt
Any other thoughts/recommendations would be great thanks guys. Keep up the good work and I hope to be able to contribute soon too
