I'd ask them this:
Since we've heard reports of SUA and people allegedly using neutral and brakes and it does NOT work...then
If it's possible to short circuit the car to get the engine to rev causing SUA, even though it's not a "real world" possibility...why would you not get in the car on a test track, use different models (with brake overrides and without) get up to 70mph, short the car to experience SUA and then hit the brakes, throw it in neutral...why not see if an electronics short would cause the other functions to not work.
This is what I would want to know. If they short the circuit, the car accelerates and the brake over ride works, or neutral works then we know that these people claiming it does nothing are wrong or made an error in what they did. If brake override or neutral does not work, then we know the electronics fail on a whole.
