Thanks.

No, no problems with my 07 and 10 manual transmission Camrys. But I am sure that I would have no problems if they were automatics. This whole thing is WAY overblown, and it is mostly the result of the Lexus dealer in CA putting in a floor mat on top of another and the poor cop not knowing what to do (all he had to do is pull the mat back). Someone had the same loaner Lexus a few days before, had the mat cause the accelerator to stick down, but he pulled it free AND reported it to the dealer, that did nothing!! IF there is any true electrical problems with these cars, then it is very rare. The lady that testified under oath - she lied or was mistaken, because the NHTSB said that multiple mats were used there also!! The Prius incident last week - BS. Others - don't know, but still no concrete evidence of electronic problems. The sticky gas pedal could cause a problem, but both mine have the Denso pedals, so no problem, no recall. The only thing that Toyota definitely did wrong was to design the pedals so that IF you used more than one mat, or did not secure it and it moved, or if you used the wrong mat, then it could cause the pedal to get stuck. If you use the right mat, and secure it with the hooks, and use only one mat, you will be fine. If something would happen, just put it in neutral (or push the clutch in with our manuals).
