Fender Flares

Hey guys,

I've seriously been considering fender flares for my Gen3. When looking at it the front looks like no problem, but the rear is a whole other story. The wheel cutout is about 1" from the door. That doesn't allow much room to have some flares molded into the body. Anyone have tips, ideas, comments? Thanx guys

You'll have to mold part of it into the rear door, so the rear flares will be in two pieces.

Nah... imho if you taper it in to the body too quickly it'll look ghey.
Look at some of the IS300 flares. The bolt on ones with the exposed rivets come in two pieces for the rear. Its not all that much more work, fiberglass is easy to cut and manipulate.

Or you can do what my friend kevin did to his gen 3

and PLEEEASE get appropreate sized wheels for your car. Can't STAND people how have narrow ass wheels/tires for flares. fill them up with nice rubber and tires. Kevin just ordered some nice ass deep dish rims for his camry. Cant' wait til it comes out.

looks nice, do you have any closer up pics of the rear fenders? I can't see what he did differently than we've been saying.

I'll be running 225s in like two or three weeks. and then i plan to pick up some 17s later on this year, right aroud dwhen i do the fender flares. I woudl run 245s with the 17s but i'm pretty sure they wont' fit, i might have to run some spacers
