e-brake light coming on

my e-brake light keeps coming on in my '93 wagon and i was wondering what could be causing it to go on and off. it usually happens at certain braking points and quick accelerations.

If its not the fluid level it could be moisture bridging the lead for the warning light.

Check the switch at the base of your e-brake handle - mine was getting stuck in the 'brake on' position, giving me the false lighting indicator.

do what ever is mentioned above, if all else fails, the sensor is probably getting ground from something.
