Can you tint tail lights?

Hey,

I have a 97 Camry V6 and i was wondering if it is possible to put a layer of window tint on the tail lights of my car.

I am not too familiar with the properties of window tint and i dont know if it would stick to the tail lights. It seems like it would look great with a not-so-dark tint.....

Lemme know what you think and if it is possible.

Yea, American Choppers is a great show!
Ive met the Tuddles twice and went to visit the shop in Rock Tavern, and yes, they act the same way in real life.

That VHT Nite Shades stuff, sounds good, but i dont know if that makes the tail lights black black or just "tinted" I'm gonna try to pick of a can and try it on something but i am still gonna try to use window tint as well.

just another idea I got my tail lights tinted with proffesional car grade clear coat with a black tint mixed in

you can add as much as you want, I could see it not costing alot of money because any auto body shop can just use the left overs from big projects and u can just add the tint in

the vht stuff blacks it out, not a smoke a actual black, like the gto head and tail covers
