Why not just ask the dealer? My guess is a dealer would charge about $200 to do this work. An independent shop would be a bit cheaper.

How many miles are on the car? Just curious, as I also have a 2007 Camry.

"Dealer asking $420 for rear pads and machine rotors"

That's outrageous. Did they say machine the rotors or replace them with new ones? Replacing them with new ones is the only way I could understand a price of $420. In any case, unless there is metal to metal contact already, the rotors should be able to be machined at least once. Call around to a few shops and ask for their price.

Good luck.
