hehe, that was just a joke my old hood got trashed from some 'tard backing into me. I got the hood off ebay for something around 350 I think, I believe its made by VIS. Finish is excellent for a CF hood but we did run into slight trouble having it close. The damn thing didnt wanna latch in, and I REALLY didnt wanna use the supplied hood pins. We took the whole latching mechanism apart, tweeked it a bit and finally got it to fit.
The next show I am probably going to go is So Cal Vs. Nor Cal. It is a Euro car only show, but I'll be there with my friend Pulsedriver and his VW. Around 900-1000 cars expected to show up. Mostly Euro, but Japanese cars will be there too (a few).
Question: without the hoodpins, even though it's latched won't there be a danger of it flying up at speed?
People at solaraguy had their VIS hood fly off when they didn't have hood pins! That was the exact same question i was gonna ask...unless u drive like a granny...u got a good looking gig there....don't spend on another hood just cus of some pins! BTW: love ur rims..the polished lip is
