Most of the cheap chips just try to fool the ecu. Check out this website. Might be able to find it chaper than manufacturer weeebsite but good reference

I would like to say sorry to the OP I came across to hard, forgive me for that. No chips are not magical and do not work.

If you have cars like a little German car I have you can reprogram to defeat laws they have. But as for our basic Toyota do not play with chips. You need to look at intake exhaust and such with reprogramming.
