Thumbs up Stock Camry engine bay pic!

I just felt like posting a pic of my engine bay after a good thrice-over with degreasers and simple green.

It's stock for the most part, except for the platinum sparks and etc. No CAI in yet, unfortunately.

You guys should have seen it when I got the vehicle, man oh man was it dirty. 190,000 miles without one clean to the engine bay. It was disgusting. This just made me proud.

Relocating pictures, check back later.

The new front strut brace and gauges will be coming mid week, so I'll take some shots of those when they are fitted into/on the car.

Very nice, particularly that engine... wish mine looked that good but I got the Franken-Camry going on after my light front-end hit last year.

I'll be cleaning mine again soon, does anyone know- and this is O/T to the thread- how to fix the rusty exhaust manifold heat shield? Mine's kinda shitty and detracts from the rest of the motor's look

Steve

Good sanding and a few coats of hi-temp.

A shot of the platinum whites at dusk...

Another at a different angle...

Since this was around street lights, I couldn't really show off the nice blue/white glow =/
