2002 camry 3.0 reset the ecu??

hey guys,

Is it possible to reset the ecu? On a 2002 camry or do I have to make the dealer use there scan tool ??

If so can someone tell me how?

Make sure all electronics, particularly the radio/stereo are off. Then disconnect the battery (negative terminal first, of course). Let the car sit this way for an hour or so, reconnect, and go from there. That should give you a reset ECU.
