DTC Code P1765

So I came across this forum from a camry owner. I hope you all can help me out. I have a 1990 Celica with a 1997 Avalon engine in it. Its mated to a 2000 Solara e153 tranny.

Im having the usual DTC codes indicating the missing shift solenoids. I have been able to cancel all of them but P1765. This website:

http://www.enginemate.com/Toyota%20dtcs%20list.htm

describes the code as:

Linear Solenoid for Accumulator Pressure Control Circuit Malfunction

so I did some searching and reading it it looks like it is referencing solenoid number 4. For those of you with a wiring diagram for the camry/avalon/etc. number 4 solenoid connects to the SLN- and SLN+ pinouts on the ECU. In the service hints area it says that solenoid 4 where it connects to SLN+ needs to read between 11 and 15 ohms. So I set up resistors to handle that.

It didnt change anything. I figured it was the SLN connections from Chiltons manual. Under P1765, it states:

Defective Shift Solenoid Valve SLN, an open or a short in the shift solenoid valve SLN circuit or PCM malfunction

I believe that this code is only prevalent on 97 or later model cars.

Can anyone help me out at all?

Here is the solenoid in question from the avalon wiring diagram:

Noting the numbers on the solenoid, the service hint area says that 1,2,6 should be grounded each with a resistance of 11-15 ohms.

So I connected 4 resistors. One for each shown in the picture. so 6, 3, 2 I connected one end of the resistor and the other end I grounded. for 1 and 4, I connected a resistor in between the two connections.

I used 15 ohm 25W resistors for all 4. Solenoid 1 which is the pink wire(3) didnt like that resistance so I did some rearranging and obtained 11.2ohms and the code went away.

However, I can't seem to get rid of this P1765. From various lists I get that this code refers to:

Linear Solenoid for Accumulator Pressure Control Circuit Malfunction
or
Defective Shift Solenoid Valve SLN, an open or a short in the shift solenoid valve SLN circuit or PCM malfunction
or
Trans 12 Volt Supply Relay Control Circuit

so this has to do with that number 4 solenoid circuit given that the second description mentions SLN and the number 4 solenoid connects to SLN+ and SLN- on the ECU.

busting out the multimeter I found that the SLN- connection is grounded and has a resistance of about 11.4ohms.

I also found out that if i directly connected SLN+ to SLN- the code would go away untill about 30 seconds into a driving interval and then pop up. So then I thought well maybe I could connect the two wires and then ground that connection since the service hint mentioned that SLN+ needed to be grounded. no luck. it still comes on about 30 seconds into driving the car.

So thats where I am at now. I've exhausted every idea I can come up with at this point.
