Question about headlight & interior lighting..

What's up everyone! New to the forum and hope to definitely learn some stuff here.. I've got a 2000 Camry with about 45k miles on it.. I want to do some things to it, mostly visual considering the mileage I've already got on it.. I'm truly a novice when it comes to my car and I'll have done as of yet has been tinted the windows and put euro alteezas on the back which actually look pretty sweet on an all white car. First.. If I want to replace the headlight bulbs with something brighter, whiter with that blueish bright look, what should I get and where to go.. I don't want to spend a bunch on HID but hoping I could do something more on the cheap.. Also: is there anyway to replace the interior lighting on this inside above - to a blueish type light.. Also: where do you all reccommend I go to shop for a spoiler...?

Hope these weren't too numerous and too stupid -- like I said, I'm a beginner aspiring to kick my camry up a notch.. Ohh yah, if I want to do a reapholestry - are those repholstery kits good - the ones for like 500 bucks...

Thanks for the help in advance!!!!

Actually, 45k on second thought isn't too much mileage.. If I want to get some body work done - the skirts, etc.. any good sites to visit ? also: I have not done anythign with the tires/ no rims.. just factory.. ahhh --- once I make more money I'll be able to sex it up a bit more..

1.) Lights- Don't bother with cheap-shit Xenon wannabe knockoffs. I had them for a very brief time, and if you're unlucky enough to be out in the rain you're blind. Probably the best thing for you, and I'm using them now, is the Sylvania Silverstar. Plan on about 40 bucks for a set, but trust me it's worth it. Complaints with them circle around short bulb life (150 hrs) but I've had one of them in for a year and a half now.. (the other got knocked out by the bumper of a minivan but it was replaced and it's about 8 months old) Very bright white light and no hassles from PoPo.

2.) Spoiler- Honestly man, I wouldn't bother, you car probably looks good enough with tint and Altezzas. As far as I'm concerned they're cop-bait, particularly the tall aluminum ones. It's all about personal choice, however. Ground effects.. you might want to check out the kit drewscam just got. Big-time bitchin'!

That's all I got at the moment, welcome to TN

Steve

Yah, dont get those crappy light kits. Its HID or nothin. A cheap mod i just bought was clear corners. I got them from this guy for 20 bux. I cant wait to get them. I'll be getting them in the next week or so. And im prolly gonna install them on my b-day. April fools. (april 1.)

You can definitely change your dome light, map lights, and even gauge lights to a bluish white color if you want to. All you gotta do is buy the new bulbs in the correct corresponding sizes. I have Polarg B1 Hybrid lights in the interior of my 89 gen2 and they look pretty nice. Personally I like the clean sleeper look without any body kits but its your car so do whatever fits you the best. Good luck and welcome to this sick forum.
