you have a link to the so called kit? ballast and capsule certainly fits, but that doesn't mean it's going to give you the lighting you expect.

what other color would result in?? is that gonna affect the brightness??

i am thinkin of the CATZ 4300k or 5500K

here is the site for the kit, i dun understand what they say there, but the color looks good:

http://www.fet-japan.co.jp/catz/hid_system.html

are there any good suggestions on which ballast is good?? i am thinkin of spending about $400~$600 for a bi-xenon kit......

Get a projector retrofit done =)
even and wide beam.

or may be your headlight lense, you might have textured lense that might effect performance of your light output

400$-600$ could be enough for you to get a projector reftrofit done hehehe.

but if you insist to get a HID KIT, then
4300k = white with slight blue and brighter
5500k = bluish white and less light being output but color wise is nice.

Hella ballast are good ones, just don't get korean ones, cause they would last long, same as bulb.

philips or Osarm would be a good choice.

Fluted/textured lenses do not necessarily equate to poor pattern, i.e. Gen2 Acura TL. However, HID lighting behind a fluted lense that was not designed for HID light source would.

Ultimately. projectors behind a clear lense would be best.

As a side note, I'll be selling my Hella ballasts, wiring harness, and a pair of D2R/S capsules (haven't looked at them for a few months so I'm not sure D or S) over the next couple of days. So keep an eye out in the For Sale/Trade section and/or PM me, and I'll reply when I have pictures of them. In addition, I'll be selling off a pair of Gen4 lenses for anyone who is interested in taking over the project.
