Could a 6 speed transmission be put on a V6 Camry (3.0L not 3.4)? I'm sorry this is probably an amazingly dumb question, but I am just curious. I doubt it can be done but I'm so unfamiliar with transmissions it's not even funny. Right now I'm debating what I should do with my small change for a car, buy a MK3 Supra (fast for now, but not my dream car), or re-do my Camry (time consuming, expensive, but definitely worth it).

IMO the 5spd solara tranny seems like a good choice regardless, better suited gear ratios than older trannys like mine
