does anyone know any good sites for high output alternators. the stock one for my camry is 80amps and i think im gonna need atleast double that. thanks
now if you really want some power try stingers or ohio generators. your gonna pay some big bucks and fab your own brackets. Mr alternator's usually have rough idles.

im possibly gonna have 2 jl audio 13w7 w/ a 1000/1 and its recommended to have a 100 amp fuse for each amp, which means i need atleast 100 amps for ONE amp and all the electrical components in my car. i looked into stinger and theirs is about 150 amps and costs $650 but is a direct bolt on, but still expensive as hell. thanks for the site smokey8890
smokey, they put out 225-259 cold, 200 hot is easy. Stinger alternators are usually noisey. Powerline makes nice products, as does penn-tex and lestek. Buying a stinger is kinda like having a pioneer deck running your pyramid amp.
Everything in you system is high quality correct? Stinger isn't comparable in quality at all. Stop by a local alternator/starter shop and ask their opinion of stinger products. I bet your gold terminals aren't on a batteries plus battery.
i talked to one of the guys at one of three beat shops i go to and he recommended just getting an optima and putting it in the trunk instead of getting the alternator. but he did mention that he can get a 200A-250A bolt on alternator for about $400, which is pretty damn good based on everything else i have found

your battery is the weakest link in your setup
Agreed. The Optima's seem to be nice.
If you're going to be running that much stuff, get the deep cycle (yellow top) and maybe a mildly upgraded alternator. That should take care of everything. I assume you're not going to have your stereo blaring ALL the time.
