First time poster. Can't open the hatch door. The gray linkage rod from the handle pushes on a brass plate within the latch assembly but he brass plate has no resistance - it seems detached from it's mechanism to unlock. It also has an electrical wire with 1 red and 1 white leads going into latch mechanism. Maybe there is an electrical acuator in there to open latch? Can't get to bolt heads to detach door latch assembly cause locked. Any ideas to open hatch door? Thanks. Doug
