What kind of jack do you have?

Poll instructions: Check which kind of jack you have and then put check beside OEM if your jack is original toyota jack that comes with your car.

Qs:

1. my OEM scissor that came with car broke apart and was wondering maybe Toyota will replace it for free?

2. Also, do you guys keep your spare tire? I am thinking about taking it out to have room for tools and stuff

Keep your spare tyre, you never know when you might need it. Camry trunk has more than enough room for your tools

I have a heavy duty floor jack, a smaller floor jack, both in the garage, and each car has the original scissors jack that came with the car. I also have a couple of older scissor jacks from earler 70's and early 80's Celicas that I sometimes use around the garage.

As far as Toyota paying for your broken jack; that really epends on the year of your car. Your original post doesn't say.

I picked up a bottle jack for mine. Factory jack was missing when I bought the car. Keep the spare, you never know. I replaced my temp tire with a full sized spare just to be safe on trips.

Electric Scissor Jack. Only 4" in height for low profile cars (even lower with a flat.)
Plugs into the lighter socket, has corded up and down control. Works great!

Definitely keep your spare. Never know when you need it.

I have the OEM jack in the car. I have a floor jack in the garage. Comes in handy when I rotate tires or need to do somethign else under the car.

I carry one of these in my trunk. It's a telescoping lug wrench. Really handy as it gives you a little more leverage to loosen lug nuts.
