Question any one done this?!?!

Where the air box was in the v6 gen 3 camry from the afm down attached a ram intake? would that make it a 'almost" cai? And if so do you think it is worth it?

if you have enough room that would probably work

you need to get a good airfilter(like K&N or something similar) or else having a cai really wont make a difference.

why dont you just remove the airbox and attach the short-ram?

hey i got an idea...remove that big bulky air box that's behind your bumper and run a pipe from the air filter box to the front part of your bumperthat way your intake will look unmodified

i doubt you will see a gain in performance... the stock piping takes cool air, just like a cold air intake... the only advantage to having an actual CAI is to bypass the airbox and make it an even and straight 3" airway to the engine.
