2000 Camery 2.2 Wont start

I have a 2000 camery 4cy. The timing belt has been replaced and now has around 60,000 miles on it. I was driving about 40mph and the engine just shut off. I have checked all the plugs and they are getting spark. I removed the two upper bolts on the timing cover and looked at the timing belt. It looks to be ok I also checked it while spinning it over and did not notice any slipping. I checked for fuel at the line at the filter and it gushes out when spun over. The fuel pump was also changed about 60,000 miles ago. When I first spin it over I acts like it is going to start for a second and then just spins over. I can let it sit about 5 minutes and the same thing happens. I also hooked up a code reader and it found none. Those are the only repairs that have been done and the car has about 176,000 miles on it, Any ideas?

Just to add a few checks I have done. The car will run when given gas thru the intake.. Maybe the cam sensor? I was told it is for the fuel delivery timing

Thanks, I replaced the cam sensor today 80.00 bucks down the drain... Its killing me that it will run on a little gas in the intake. I have worked at a Caterpillar Dealer for 15 years and have never had a engine I can not fix. This whole Toyota thing is killing me. Maybe its time to do whaI tell our customers and bring it to the dealer, I will keep you all posted.

you know it is getting fuel and spark. Perhaps the problem is, it is not getting fuel or spark at the right time. you seem to have really done your homework in troubleshooting and i can think of only a few random wild guesses:
-bad worn out ignition switch? (this happened to me once - car would not run right, a sharp mechanic traced it to the ignition switch). Try starting the car then nudge the key just a fraction in either direction, if the engine changes sound then the switch may be bad.
-bad fuel injectors? (Not likely because it runs when on seperate fuel.)
-bad fuel pump working intermittently
-crank sensor (if fitted)
-idle air control valve stuck closed
-bad egr valve
-clogged catalytic convertor
-sticky valves
-it is possible the timing belt may have jumped time and be off one or more teeth.

wild guesses - like i said - i'd suspect one of the many engine sensors first, like the MAF, engine temperature switch, the cam sensor as you suggested - sounds most like an electrical problem.
