Free lifetime replacement struts?

If this question has already been asked, sorry. I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for. I was browsing the Toyota USA site and looking at the owners section for some answers to maintenance questions on my '97 Camry LE I4 auto. I was thinking about replacing the cabin air filter (because I just replaced it in my Accord), but found on this site that it doesn't have one, so that's taken care of.

The other thing is the struts. The car sinks like hell when it's loaded and the ride motions suck. If you push down on the trunk, the car will bounce up and down 3-5 times. After only 140K miles, this is not what I expected. After all, my Accord at 112K is still perfect in this area, and my other Accord (now sold) was at 240K and still pretty good.

So I was looking for new struts and apparently it says somewhere in the Owners Manual supplement that Toyota gives free lifetime replacement of numerous items such as mufflers, exhaust piping, struts, springs, etc. The catch was...buy it at a Toyota dealer, and install there, plus you have to be the original owner. I believe I'm the third owner for this car. Do you think Toyota would still replace them for free, or even cover them partially?

doubt it. Toyota wouldn't replace my A/C expansion valve, which had a recall on it, only because my Camry was built in Kentucky instead of Japan (nevermind the same company made the A/C systems and parts for both assembly lines.

Hmm that's odd I thought Toyota was always damn good with warranties. They've been replacing those V6's for free as far as I know, even out of warranty.

Also, don't want to be creating new threads so I'll just ask this here and see if anyone answers. There's a creaking coming from the front passenger side. It's more noticeable when the car is fully loaded and when it's cold (doesn't necessarily have to be both together). What do you guys think? Oh yeah seems to occur when the suspension is moving at low speeds (ie. bumps, turns). Might be drowned out as speed increases, not sure but doubt it.
