Engine mounts (what to do?)

When I changed my engine, I realised the engine mounts were getting old and need a replacement/refresh

I can get solid mounts for a really cheap price, I just need to do some measurements but I had a ride in a Neon with solid engine mounts and all the interior of the car was shaking like hell.. Is this 'problem' going to happens with a camry ? Cause I loved the feeling but I would not want to have all this shaking/noise in my daily driver..

Also, I have heard of many people filling the engine mounts with windshield polyeurethane (3M black thing).. (I know this have been discussed a lot) Last year I put my hand on 2 tubes of 3M Polyeurethane to do my engine mounts but after doing a little test, I was thinking maybe this is too 'soft' for engine mounts.. so I left them in the basement until I find a usefull way to use them.

Is there any TRD engine mounts or from any company available for a 3rd gen V6 camry ?

Would you guys suggest putting some of the engine mounts solids and fill some others with polyeurethane ?

Thanks,
--Ben

Even one completely solid motor mount will make your car rattle like crazy. Don't do it unless you want to feel like you are in a race car...

I really suggest you try the polyurethane on the motor mounts. You want to reduce movement, not eliminate it. I'm not sure of the motor mount configuration on the 3vz/1mz, but you should try filling in 1 or 2 mounts (any of the round ones that have open space) and see what that gets you. If its too stiff, drill a few holes, if its not stiff enough, try to find some stiffer polyurethane and try again (they make many stiffnesses of polyurethane)

Have fun...
