Hi,
I have lowered my Solara with Eibach springs but I still have my stock struts on.
It sometimes makes really loud cracking sound when one of my wheels falls into
a dent on a highway, and it really bothers me. It does sound like something breaks down too.
If I get the TRD struts, would it solve this problem?
Secondly, I try the graphite lubricant for the squeak sound (only on right side) on my sway-bar, and it is not helpful at all. I need to spray it every 2 hour or so which is pretty annoying.
If anyone knows which brand and which lubricant works better, please reply me.
Thanks a lot.

Aftermkt struts should definately help. Stock struts are not designed to be used in conjunction with lowered and firmmer springs.
As for swaybar lude, other ppl have had more sucess with silicone based Marine Lude and a little bit of teflon tape :???:

I too just lowered my Solara with Eibach springs, 1.6''. You have to get rid of the OEM struts, they'll be dead before long. I wanted to get Tokico's but got suckered into KYB's.
I actually haven't had any problems with the KYB's and I like how the feel, but have only had them for 500 miles, hope they hold up.
I have heard from lots of people the quality goes KYB->Tokico->Bilstein (TRD) Depends how stiff or bouncy ride you want. Hope that helps. Oh you can get the struts online for a pretty good price at http://www.shox.com
