2001 corolla help!!!

heres my issue. i was hearing a loud clicking noiseon the front pass. side and everyone was telling me cv joints and/or wheel bearing. so i replaced both cv joints and both wheel bearing. and the sound is still there. so i jacked it up againand had my wife slowly let the clutch out to let the wheels spin and that loud clicking noise is coming from the tranaxle,so my? is does anyone know what it could possibly be? pressure plate, a gear, or clutch. i need help. i dont wanna take out the transaxle if i dont have too.

Transaxle, you mean the Transmission? It only happens when you're moving in gear, not when turning or braking?

Some other things:
When was your last oil change?
Worn Valve lifters? Rods, bearings?
