Turn signal problem

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my 2000 LE. The right side turn signal does not work, or I should say it does not work properly. It works when the head lights and parking lights are off, but blinks fast like there is a bulb out when either the parking lights or head lights are on.
I've replaced both the front and back TS lights and the problem persists.
What is even weirder is that the problem does NOT exist for when the Hazzards are on. I can turn on the Hazzards and then turn on the parking or head lights and they work fine.
So thinking that the turn signal flasher and Hazzard flasher are separate parts I went to a dealership to inquire about a turn signal flasher... it turns out that there is 1 flasher for both utilities. I can't really imagine the TS's working at all in either way (blinker or Hazzard) if there was a problem with the flasher.
To complicate matters more the car was in an accident on the same side of the car a year ago. I'm wondering if there is a wiring problem that has just manifested itself from the accident. I've looked all the wiring over quickly and it all looks in good shape. All wrapped properly and with good grounds where it looks like a ground should be.
Also, the orange dummy dash light for a "lights" problem now comes on when the parking or head lights are on indicating there is a problem with the system. ...this did not happen when the TS problem first started happening.

Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated. If there is a professional troubleshooting service that I could call or get to online that might help me, contact information would be GREAT!
Thanks so much!!

Chris

Take out the bulb, turn on your RSTS and test the wires going to the plug with a voltometer or circuit testing light with the HL and PL off to make sure you are getting power. Turn on the lights and test again to verify that there is no power going to plug w/lights on. I am assuming that your LSTS works, so do the same test to the left side and see what wires are "hot" in the mode that your RSTS isn't working. That should help you figure out what wires on the RSTS are malfunctioning. Hope that helps.

Don't know if you've found the problem yet, but I would check the wires for the trunk harness by the lh trunk hinge for broken and touching wires, seen before.

I have the exact same problem as you except my dummy light isn't on (yet). I've heard that corroded harness' may be the cause. Once it gets warmer I'll take a look. In the meantime, I'll just look like a ricer when I signal right
