Drive light on gauge went blank

Hi people,

I have a '98 camry, when I shift the gear into drive mode, the light does not come on. All of the other gears like P, N, ...ect are still on. Is the light buld for D (DRIVE) blew or that? Or is there a guse that I need to replace? If so, where?
Can someone give me a feed back on what might be wrong with the light? Before, the light came on but I think it just got burn recently.

Is the replacement of fuse/bulb for this job hard? Can it be done at home or dealership? Would there be some malfuntion that I might face if touching of the chips or anything of electronic when I open up the dashboard to replace the fuse/bulb?

Thanks Guys

its just the bulb that burnt out... you can tear apart your dash and get at your instrument cluster to replace it (with your L or 2 light)

mine is burnt out, i like it better that way

It's very easy to do. All you need is a small flat head and a phillips. Use a phillips to remove the two screws at the top of the black plastic trim surrounding your gauges, clock and vent. Then use the flat head to gently pry at the two far ends and the lower corners. Make sure to tape the tip so you don't damage it. Once removed, you will see four screws to remove with your phillips. Then just disconnect the three wire harnesses and you can remove the gauge cluster.
