exhaust manifold for 3.3L

I was wondering if anyone knew if the only difference between the 1mz and the 3mz is the engine was bored out. i was wondering this because i noticed that JP performance has a set of headers for the non VVTi 1MZ. http://www.jpperformancellc.com/toyota.html has anyone else tried them on their VVTi 1mz or even the 3mz. I would really like to get a set to get some more power and sound but i dont wanna get them and find out that they dont fit. Thanks for your help.

Dunno, but an easy and relativley cheap way to figure this out is compare gaskets. Maybe even free if you have a nice parts guy working at the dealership.

just to let you know that I have a friend who got them for his 1.5 gen Solara and they do not fit. The EGR tube is a different design from an "S" to a "U" shape. Yes i know that the vvti version is different and that the 1.5 gen solara is non vvti, but there is a slight difference and most likely will be the same if not worse for you vvti 1mz motors out there. Best thing to do is call up JPP and ask for Jose. He provides a lot of help and service ans ia willing to go out of his way to help a fellow toyota owner. I bought a used header ans y pipe combo with missing gaskets. I called up and he sent them to me for free.
