Question performance struts before lowering springs?

is that a better idea than putting in lowering springs before the struts.....???

Cause I believe that for Audi, and VW, their "sport" suspension is like putting stiffer struts in, and this way the car won't bounce that much when going over bumps, etc....

I am not a 100% sure will this lower the car or not, but if I am wrong, then welcome to prove me wrong.......~

From what I've heard, It is okay to put in lowering springs with stock struts. Just expect more drop and a bouncy ride. I'm sure others will tell you the same.

But from what you are asking, yes it is okay

If you're going to get both, do them at the same time, save half the labour.

IMO that's not "okay" in my book. That'll kill your struts sooner than expected as the lowered springs are putting extra stress on them. Warranty is automatically void on the OEM struts if you do this.

Yes, he is right they will die faster. It is "okay" but really not the best solution. I myself wouldn't do it for an extended amount of time. Lowering it and killing the struts isn't worth it unless you can do it at the same time like Ekam said.

I mean is it okay to put in just performance struts, and stock shocks? not the other way around......
cause I think that is what Audi, and VW is doing for their "sport" suspension.......~

If you go with KYBs you will not really notice a difference. However, if you change to tokico on you stock springs youw ill notice a difference.

There may be drop, but nothing noticeable. Your ride will be stuffer and you will have less body roll and osculation of the car.

i agree with soundlzrd. I put tokicos in mine and my ride is stiff and has less roll. I also put the eibach lowering springs instead of the stock ones. Performs great!
