Update

Update,

There is no update. Unfortunately nothing was done to this point. I was called on Friday before I made my way over to the facility by the general manager and was told that the project was not started due to some issues during last week that set us back.

I was promised a phone call along with updates for this week.

Hang tight guys, I will keep you all updated on any progress as soon as it is made available to me.

BAD NEWS

At this time, i'm quite dissapointed to inform you all that the GEN 3/3.5 C.F trunk project will be put on hold for at least the next 2 months.

After speaking with the production manager on Monday night, he informed me that it was not possible to go ahead with this project at the present time.

It may be sooner than 2 months or longer, there are no guarantees as to when we can start. The guarantee is that it can be done; this is just a case of poor judgement by my team.

I must apologize for this as everything was ready to go, we had collected all deposits, the donor car was at the shop and ready for action. Upon closer inspection of the time allocated for this and current projects on the go, it was clear that at this momment, it is not feasible.

Basically, it comes down to 2 choices:

We can refund you your deposits w/o hesitation. This will pretty much end the group buy and further us from reaching the goal.

or

if everyone agrees, we hold on to the deposits and keep the project alive.

I leave it in your hands...

Funny you messaged today; I was thinking of you guys actually.

In terms of progress.... none whatsoever. Like I had mentioned previously, this was postponed until a later date which was roughly a 2 month period.

To be quite honest with you guys, the mx-3 OEM CF hoods are complete, but the Inverted is still in development. This was the initial cause for delaying the Trunk production.

Until this is cleared out of the way, we cannot start.

I haven't forgotten about this, when we have a chance to get this ball rolling, I will notify the board.

Thanks for everyones patience!
