Question Tranny hicups

I have a real problem I was driving back home the other night and all of a sudden I hit the gass all the way and noticed that when my rpms was going high around 4k it made like a lag or hicup and then continued on up. I have a tranny cooler installed but i doubt that could be the problem cause when ever I installed the tranny cooler I drove my car around for about 10k miles with the cooler with no problems. I have 117k miles on my car and I never did a tranny flush on it. MY engine like came on that same night I was driving home and it was flashing and al of a sudden stopped and it's just lit on. I hope any can help me on this this....

Year, engine type?

Did you add additional fluid to the system to replace was was lost and make up for added capacity?

i had this kind of hickup, it was the fuel pump, it happened when i had the pedal to the floor (usually when i had less than 1/2 tank)

if you've got a multi metre and a haynes manual you can check it

whoops sorry I have a 1MZ-FE 1997 v6 Camry, I added some fluid that I had lost from installing the tranny cooler. I figured out my engine light problem, it was my Mass air flow sensor, I just cleaned it with some electrical component cleaner and replaced my filter.

How can the fuel pump affect my slippage or hicups on my tranny? I usually run sometimes and most of the times half or little less than half a tank. I'm thinking it could be my torque converter that could be slipping....Any other suggestions???
