No. Even if you go through a ton of water, I'm not conviced it'll even work... Save your money, avoid big puddles that could submerge your filter.

well i got one and after a couple months the thing just cracked in half from engine vibrations...i don't think it was worth it, besides, in order to get these filters to suck up enough water to damage the engine, they have to be completely submerged....

well man they 35 here and it doesn't hurt to have one.........maybe one day you will be thankful you had one
