how do you get it off, i already have a belt, and took out to bolts on the bottom of the compressor but i have had no luck. so basically what else do i need to remove to get it off? Or should i just hit it really hard with a hammer?

What car do you have ? Apart from 4 bolts, a/c lines and the harness I don't see what could be the problem to remove it

wow i can't believe that i forgot to post that

it is a 92 sedan inline 4

i took off two bolts off the compressor that i can see
where are the other bolts

The other bolts are on the compressor.

Once you remove all the bolts (4 total) the compressor will just fall off.
