I've been talking to a fellow board member about the VIS Coilovers alot lately. I'm seriously considering buying a set but he said after they were installed he noticed this clicking noise. However he thinks he knows what the problem is.

Has anyone else that has these coilovers on their Gen3 V6 had or have the same problem? If so how did you fix it and was it an easy fix? I just put a set of KYB GR2's on my car last night so I'd be looking to sell them if I know for sure this "clicking" can be fixed.

Lastly I've been told that the ride on these things is really harsh. Am I better off staying with what I have(Intrax Springs w/KYB GR2's)or is it worth it to shell out the cash for the coilovers?

The replies will help me decide so can you please post here either way...Thanks!

Welcome to TN!!

I moved your post here since it's a Camry-realted topic.

I had the VIS coilovers on. The drop looks good but the ride was harsh like you said. I have finally switched back to lowering springs 3 months ago.

Hmmmm, decisions decisions. Thanks for the feedback kids. One thing though, did anyone have that "clicking" problem I mentioned in my other post? If so, was it an easy fix?

i think that the noise is comin from the install. maybe its some lose bolts or it can be the stuts hiting the springs 2 hard.
