Does the 3sgte have to be from a celica all trac, or an Mr2 to fit into a gen3? Are these engines identical in both these cars, or do they have tiny differences?

No the All TRack and theMR2 turbo are basically the same... The only differences are 1) water neck 2) trannies and 3) depends on what year of motor your looking at ...

That 3S-GTE is off a ALL TRack Celica. That would be an easy swap except the transmission requires major modification to be converted to fwd ...
