Exclamation Urgent:Link -Bar for swaybar

Did anyone run into a problem of breaking the link bar connecting to the swaybar when installing the Struts and Springs? or there is some- other way of doing it without a chance of breaking it......
By the way, I have a 94 Gen3 Camry V6

Did you try to soak the bolt that holds the link to the strut with PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench before removing? Not sure why would the link break though...

Ya its a stupid stupid design and thats the toughest part of the job man! Everything else is really easy, just watch out for broken bolts like i did, but still ended up breaking 1.

PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench, or WD40 are chemical stimulants to loosen up rusted equipment so that they can be taken off/out with much lower probability of breakage. Apply/spray around all the connection area and let the chemicals soak for about 5 minutes before taking them off. Do this and you shouldn't have any bolts breaking off.

No offense, it's NOT a stupid design. It's carelessness from the uninstallation procedures.

Yes, I know. My '93 was probably as rusty as yours when I installed H&R springs, compared to my '98, which wasn't then.
