fix a fan...

aight heres my problem: my temp. guage rose all the way hot so i stopped and went to autozone and bought a thermostrat.. replaced it .. and it runs fine for now but i realized my fans (netiher of the two) are running (if you spin it with your finger itll keep going without a click noise, they tell me this is bad) so question 1. what do i do now 2. how much is this going to cost more or less to fix...

If you think there bad go get a used assy. from a salvage yard . You should be able to get the hole thing , shroud, motor & blade.

I'd check the clip that connects the fan to the thermostat/power etc before replacing the whole assembly.

frist make sure the fans are bad by putting power to them put jumper wires from you batt. to a fan and see if it works if it does check the fuses and relays if those are fine then there also should be a temperature switch that turn it on go to the part store and ask for that part so you can see what it looks like(advance auto should have a picture of it). hope that helps
