Just got finished getting painted at Station28 last night. I opted to keep it the same color as the car, Dark Emerald...

Nice! Do you have a front shot of your car? I wanna take a better look, plus I wouldn't mind seeing those projectors again!

call me stupid, but what's so neat about that? isnt the grill supposed to let air into the engine compartment? blocking it off with that smoked plastic or fiberglass.....

so fresh and so clean, clean. i like it. keep it up. did you do the cutting and sanding yourself or did the shop do it all up? just wondering as i'm planning to do a custom grill in the future. i'm gonna bid on one on eBay so that if i screw up it's no big deal

Looking good Ratko! It's going to look amazing after you put the mesh behind the grille as well!

BTW Ratko, how did you manage to reshape the fins where the Toyota Logo used to be? Bondo? A piece of aluminum? Etc?

Thanks Tony... actually we "slid" one of the vertical plastic pieces that we cut off into the gap in the fold behind the middle piece, which held it together well. Then when we dropped it off at Station 28, they used some body filler to fill all the gaps we cut and to make the middle piece smooth. If you look at it up close you'll notice its not perfect, but very close... Once i pick up some mesh this week, ill finish it off.

latez.
