noobie and strut brace question

Hi. im new here. I've been browsing the forums for a while now. I just recently signed up.

I have a noob question. There's a guy on another forum that's selling this factory strut brace. He said he got it from Ebay. It wouldnt fit on his ES300, so he's selling it. He says it's from a solara, but he wasnt sure what year. could this strut brace fit on a GEN4 camry? thanks.

gee. have you tried to fit one into your camry? because my friend did it with that exact Solara tower strut bar on his 1998 ES300 and I have done it with my 2001 camry.. It can be done period.. TOYO-ED only asked if it can fit into a gen4 camry.. the answer is YES.. if you haven't done it yourself, then stop suggesting that it won't fit

gen1 Solara, ES300 and gen4 Camry share same chasis.. they are actually quite similar

hopefully i'm going to venture into this. The original pic is from a gen 1 solara (99-03). Gen 4 camrys the fit and feel seems to mate well with this bar..the clerance issue is something else. I was told that the headshield in the first few tries guises as a clearance issue. After a few times when the headshield is bent up accordingly, it will fit well. Eithercase in the next few days will try and let you guys know.
