My camry is acting crazy. help?

Hi I own a 99 camry V6 with 52 k on it and the car is hesitating alot and it seems like the car is gonna die. There is a smell that never came out of my car before. There is no smoke coming out of the muffler but the smell seems like burning coolant or oil. I checked the coolant resevoir and there is a top layer of oil inside. I don't have any extensive mods on my car intake and muffler.Do any of u guys no anything about this? Thanks for all your help

John

ps do any of u guys know the powertrain warranty on toyotas? I didn't get the extended warranty.

You have a blown headgasket / headgaskets.

it's only 52k .. bring it in.. replacing the headgasket can be costly (it cost me 500 dollars to do a headgasket on a bonneville without labor).. it should be covered by warrenty.. I think.. but I dunno..

hey thanx for the reply rated w. Yeah im gonna take it in on monday. Isn't the headgasket part of the powertrain? I think my car is still good for the 5yr/60k warranty on powertrain.

Are you the original owner? They may give you grief if you're not. I'd say it should still be covered under the 60k powertrain, but Toyota may say that the warranty is non-transferrable. Good luck!
