weiiiird breaklight problem

92' cam. Weirdest thing happening to my break lights. Help me and tell me wut you think...
When i start my car and begin driving all lights work fine. After a while or after i have to hold my breaks hard at'a light for'a long period of time. when i release tha break pedal alll break lights stay lit up. Then when i drive. All my break lights are still on as tho i'm riding my breaks.

I brought it into a shop and they couldnt find out wut it was. They cheked tha thing in tha stering column that controls all lights and the little box in tha rear quarter pannel that controls tha break lights... it was neither.. Help me.. i dont need more reasons for cops to light me up... thank you

yep, seems to me it can't be anything else than that, did they check it at the shop?

it's very inexpensive, just pick one up at aparts store and replace it. Once you have the new one and look up under the dash you'll see where it goes. There is no fixing the old one once bad.

Well no, you could spend $50 to rebuild a $15 part if that's what you'd really rather do.
