To make this post somewhat helpful, a short analogy of how turbochargers work:
Think of two siamese twin snails, connected at the shell since birth. You feed one snail exhaust, but since they can't digest exhaust it just goes out the other end. However, since these are siamese twin snails, the other snail senses what's happening to its twin, so it gets freaked out and starts to hyperventilate, which makes it burp a lot for some reason. One harnesses the power of the burping snail by directing its burps into the intake, which increases the pressure of the air going into the intake (effectively, the amount of air getting in there), and thus more power from more oxygen.
