5 spd conversion done. Car kicks @ss

Man, I have been trying to resist posting since I don't have pics yet but I can't. I see why everyone loves manuals so much cuz this thing is an absolute blast to drive now. The gearing on the GTS tranny is so so short and witht he flywheel and pulley, the revs rise very quick. 1st and second seem to shoot by. Now I am not going to pretend like this car is fast or anyting because it is not but there is no comparison to before. It would destroy my car in it's auto incarnation. Up top it's not really that much faster (after 100mph) but down low, it gets out of the whole QUICK. I did change ECU's though so now ithere is no governor(took it up to 115 just to check). I am gonna make a couple vids SOON and take some pics of the car so you all can see. I also got a new exhaust and have my SAFC II on the way so it will be on the vid/in pcs also. You have no idea how good it feels to have your car back after 6 months of walking. Now I am going to go for a little drive. Later guys.

P.S. If anyone has or knows where I can get the pin out?wiring diagram for my car then I would appreciate it so I can hook up the SAFC II.

I have a factory wiring manual.

I'll scan the pages for the ecu and post it up.

I love this thing. Spinning the tires going into second at will is so much fun.

Here is my whole setup since I see people have questions.

1988 Celica GTS 5 speed manual transmission
90-93 TWM celica Shortshifter
Clutchmasters lightweight Flywheel(took forever to get though cuz nobody ever gets them and they had to make it from scratch)
ACT clutch (whatever there first upgraded stage is)

That is everything(all the special parts at least) that was just put on the car with a couple asthetic enhancements such TRD shift knob, New pedals, and Leather Shift boot.

I am using the stock 3sfe (well a jdm one I got since I blew my original one) and I am building that up. I have K & N panel filter, Unorthodox lightweight racing pulley, 2.25 custom from manifold back with no cat. Wires, plugs, etc. Car has lots of other stuff done to it but too that is all as far the "GO" portion is concerned.

I ordered a d@mn genie header almost two months ago but it still has not gotten here. After I get that I will hook up my SAFC and dyno this sucka and also go run it at the track. I wanna see what power is like before I add Harmers head work and cams.

I didn't do the swap myself but it was actualy pretty straightforward and easy. Took the shop maybe 3 days. Didn't run into any problems except having to wait for the flywheel. With labor I paid about 2300 but I bought a lot of unnecessary stuff. You can do the swap easily for 1500 and if you are mechanically inclined, you can do it for under 1000.

It's kinda funny because I didn't really know how to drive stick before this but I learned quickly. It's actually harder than normal because the revs rise and fall so quickly and the ACT clutch has a stiff feel. I stalled the car 4 times in a row before I could even move out my parking space. Stalling repeatedly in front of a row of cars when a light turns green is no fun either

Here you go.

http://www.pierreluxury.com/pics/toyota/ecu

2.jpg is what you want to look at, but I figured I'd scan all the pages for the ecu.

I also found a pin out diagram for a 3S-FE ecu. I don't know how accurate it is. So the best thing to do is compare it to the pages from the factory wiring manual.
