suspension install questions

I am planning on buyin' new struts and springs for my 89 camry.
KYB struts and Intrax springs.

I'd like to know what other parts I should replace ..such as bushings and mounts since I'm replacing my blown out, creaky ass suspension.

thanx..

Definitly get strut mounts for the front. Also buy new strut mount bearings if not included with the new strut mounts. Check the lower ball joints for play and visually inspect the control arm bushings for tears or from being soaked with power steering fluid(or any other fluid that might be leaking). Good luck with the project.

I definately agree with TRDcamry2003 about replacing the mounts. I replaced my mount recently with kybs but i must say that i am not very satisfied with them. I thought they were high perfomance parts?! I might recommend get originals from the dealer. Maybe mine were just bad. whats everyones else experience with kyb mounts?

I justed installed my KYB Struts and Intrax springs. Swapped my old Lower Spring seat and bearing to the new struts..no problem at all. I opted for new kyb upper and lower mounts but I figured if its not broke why mess with it. And OEM parts are way better than aftermarket. If you experience anything wrong with them i would take them out and get OEM ones. Because they could lead you to worse things.
