I have a gen 3 with 17's and 215/45/17 tires. I also have intrax springs with a 1.75 inch drop. I appear to bottom out a lot on the bumpy roads. I was wondering if it is the tires hitting the wheel well or if i am truely bottoming out. I know ratko said his tires were hitting. i'm thinking that mine might be. If this is the case would struts help a little or not.

If you have the 1.75'' drop with OEM struts, then YES, you have to replace those, get a lot firmer struts, TRD, Koni, Tokico, would really help improve your handling and probably fix your bottoming out problem

I agree that the struts are the culprits. 215 tires should not be hitting or rubbing anything unless you have the wrong offset on your wheels.

BTW, I'm curious, what do you mean by "lots of mods" in you sig? :smile:
