Welcome Shawn, it's a priviledge to have your presence on TN :smile:
Yeah, i gotta admit, we all started off at CMPL, and still frequent it regularly, but its always nice to have a local forum, just like TeamSC3 has theirs for SoCal locals. Either way, we respect everyone's boards and a lot of us visit all the boards.
One thing ive wanted to ask you: Where did you relocate your washer nozzles after you installed the CF hood?
Haha...I have no washers. It only sucks when the window is dirty. I just pull off to a gas station and clean them.
As for NOPI in July..haven't heard anything..you have a site w/info? I know HIN is there in August.
I figured most people here visited cmpl but wasn't sure. What took me so long to find this site?
Thanks for the welcome guys!
welcome to the chilly north side :smile: no matter what the forum... it's all about the cars. anyways, keep up the good work on the car. keep showin those folks that there's more out there than Civic's and 'Teggys.
and did i hear right on CMPL?... congrats on the new arrival coming soon.
Hey Shawn!! What's up?? Great to see you at ToyotaNation!!
It's been a while since we've chatted. Don't know if you remember me. I still remember all the advice you gave me when I was a newbie on CMPL. For that, I'm still very thankful.
My car has gone through some major changes in the last year, from a complete paint and body kit to custom interior; and most recently (yesterday) a 5 speed tranny swap. The link in my signature has some pics of the exterior, and I posted some (fuzzy) pics of the interior in this thread: http://www.toyotanation.com/viewtopic.php?topic=3661&forum=2&19
Your ride is looking more crazy than ever!! Good luck with the shows.
Speaking of shows, I will be entering a few this summer. Any tips?

I'm SUPER, thanks for asking;
All things considered I couldn't be better I must say.
I'm feeling SUPER, no, nothing bugs me;
Everything is SUPER when you're...
Hey..yeah I remember you. I saw the pics. Really nice job on the interior. As for tips on the show scene...hmmm
Eddie has some helpful information posted on his...can't find it though..My mind set when I go is to expect to lose. I've been fortunate to come away with 15 trophies out of 17 shows.
Make sure all areas are clean. Fender wells, exhaust tip, you name it...you clean it.
I alwyas have someone else look my car over to make sure I didn't forget anything. DON"T USE COTTON to place any where near your car. That is a big NO NO. Keep your display (if you have one) to a minimum.
If I think of anything else or find eddies info I'll pass it on.
